Minutes of meeting held 18th October 2009
1. Outstanding results: Queens 7 The Gate 3

2. Presentation Night: Confirmed as Saturday 6th December 2009 at The Gate
As an incentive to encourage teams/players to attend, anyone turning up on the night that has played at least 60% of league games will be given a raffle ticket. Only eligible players will be given a ticket & must be present when the draw is made after the presentation of trophies. We will have a list of eligible players compiled from league sheets, so please ensure all outstanding sheets have been handed in. 6 prizes of £50 will be drawn.
3. Cup Finals:
(i) Singles, Tuesday 20th October at Northern Snooker Centre.
(ii) Doubles, Tuesday 27th October at Harehills Liberal Club.
(iii) League/Supplementary cup finals, Tuesday 3rd November at Excelsior.
(iv) Player of the Season, Tuesday 10th November at East Leeds Snooker Club.
4. Provisional League Winners:
Division 1 - Delaneys Bar (Runners up, Imports)
Division 2 - Station Hotel (Runners up, Excelsior)
5. AGM - Provisional date Sunday 13th December at Delaneys bar, 11am start.
Any proposals should be given to Steve Monkman or Alan Cochrane at least 2 weeks prior to AGM or posted on the forum.

2. Presentation night to be at The Gate with a provisional date of Saturday 6th December 2009.

3. A final reminder was issued re qualification of players for cup semis to be layed ths Tuesday.

10/11/09 - Player of the season TBC
5. Nigel Hewson will be shaving his head on 26th September to raise money for childrens ward at Jimmys. Full details are on news page. Please contact Alan Cochrane or Nigel if you would like to sponsor him.
6. Any Other Business - Gary from Northern SC announced that a 4-man league will be held at Northern SC on Monday nights commencing 15th September 2009. Each player plays 2 frames. Prize fund is £1000. Lights will be shared between teams playing each other. Teams can sign on as many players as they want, but only 4 can play on each night. For entry forms contact Gary Butcher at Northern SC or contact Alan Cochrane who can provide contact details.

Reminder regarding cancelled matches. Any team wishing to cancel matches due to be played after 1st September 2009 must cancel match no later than 6th September meeting. NO cancellations will be allowed after that date. No league matches can be played after last league games on 13th October 2009.
3. Presentation night:
Proposals for a venue for presentation night were to be presented at todays meeting. Only Delaneys Bar, Seacroft Green Social Club & The Gate have expressed an interest. A decision will be made at September meeting.
4. Signing On/transferring players:
Teams were reminded that the last date for signing on new players or transferring to another team is this Tuesday 4th August 2009. New signings after this date will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances.
5. Cup semi-final qualifying criteria:
Teams are reminded that only players who have 'participated' in at least 8 league and/or cup matches can play in a cup semi-final. Players who did not qualify for the semi-final cannot subsequently qualify to play in the final. Reserve appearances do not count.
